Want to train in the field  !

In addition to feeding more 14 families with seasonal vegetables, produced in an ecological way,
my goal is to share my know-how with serious people who want to establish themselves in market gardening.
  The aim of the immersion is to provide a workplace where the trainees can better understand my techniques and working methods by participating in all the tasks carried out at the micro-farm.
These internships are NOT remunerated and any interested person must be willing to be on site for the entire internship.

         TRAINEESHIP

To do an internship, you must be in a course  studies allowing  internship agreements.

 

On site you will discover the different productions and techniques used on the micro farm.

your desires, and activities that I suggest to you at the micro ferme du bourbonnais.

PROGRAM:

 

  The morning :

Visit of the micro farm. The main principles of gardening according to the principles (permaculture, bio-intensive fortier method, and animals ...).  

 

The afternoon :

  Gardening in general (tools, seedlings, greenhouse management).

  Water management in greenhouses and vegetable gardens.

 

The themes of the day and the schedules can be readjusted according to the climatic conditions of the moment.

2 . Discovery and practice of permaculture

  in 1 day

Hours: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Morning: The main principles of permaculture. Visit of the Bourbonnais micro farm

  Observation of the environment and the soil.

  Plant health (Cultivation method, Practical workshop sowing, transplanting, tomato pruning  etc ..

The afternoon:  The management of a culture mound (How to create and maintain a culture mound, explanation in the field). 

Weed management.

Discovery of the varieties of vegetables.

how to make your own seeds!

Water management in greenhouses and vegetable gardens.
